September 2024, fand der 5. Ith-Hils-Wandertag statt und lockte erneut zahlreiche Wanderfreunde in die wundersch\u00f6ne Natur rund um den Ith-Hils-Weg. Sechs verschiedene Touren mit unterschiedlichen L\u00e4ngen standen zur Auswahl, um den Teilnehmern ein unvergessliches Naturerlebnis zu bieten.<\/p>\n<h4>Gemeinsamer Start in Delligsen<\/h4>\n<p>Die Wandergruppe des Heimatvereins Delligsen nahm in diesem Jahr als Gruppe an der Tour in Holzen teil. Am fr\u00fchen Morgen trafen sich die Delligser Wanderer an der H\u00fctte der katholischen Kirche in Delligsen, wo Fahrgemeinschaften gebildet wurden. Gemeinsam fuhren sie zum Treffpunkt der Tour: dem Wanderparkplatz am Ende der H\u00fcttenstra\u00dfe am Waldrand von Holzen. Dort angekommen, wurde schnell klar, dass dieser Tag viele Menschen anzog, denn es war eine Herausforderung, einen freien Parkplatz zu finden.<\/p>\n<h4>Begr\u00fc\u00dfung und Start der Wanderung<\/h4>\n<p>Am Parkplatz angekommen, wurden die \u00fcber 80 Teilnehmer herzlich von den Organisatoren der Wanderung sowie der B\u00fcrgermeisterin von Holzen begr\u00fc\u00dft. Aufgrund der gro\u00dfen Teilnehmerzahl wurden zwei Gruppen gebildet. Die Delligser Wanderer schlossen sich der ersten Gruppe an und machten sich auf den Weg durch den Wald in Richtung Rothesteinh\u00f6hle.<\/p>\n<h4>Abenteuer in der Rothesteinh\u00f6hle<\/h4>\n<p>Der Pfad f\u00fchrte \u00fcber Naturwege und durch felsiges Gel\u00e4nde, bis schlie\u00dflich die imposante Rothesteinh\u00f6hle erreicht wurde. Die H\u00f6hle konnte nur in kleinen Gruppen betreten werden, und der glatte und rutschige Untergrund erforderte festes Schuhwerk und Trittsicherheit. Wer unter Platzangst litt, wartete lieber drau\u00dfen, denn die H\u00f6hle hat sehr enge Passagen. Die Mutigen jedoch wurden mit einem aufregenden Abenteuer und einem Einblick in eine faszinierende unterirdische Welt belohnt. Es sei darauf hingewiesen, dass die H\u00f6hle zum Schutz der \u00fcberwinternden Flederm\u00e4use von Oktober bis April verschlossen ist.<\/p>\n<h4>Zwischenstopp am Segelfluggel\u00e4nde<\/h4>\n<p>Nach der Besichtigung der Rothesteinh\u00f6hle ging es weiter in Richtung Segelfluggel\u00e4nde. Hier trafen sich die beiden Gruppen wieder und erhielten von den Mitgliedern der Luftsportvereinigung Ithwiesen spannende Einblicke in den Segelflugsport. Eine Verpflegungsstation sorgte mit Obst und Getr\u00e4nken daf\u00fcr, dass die Wanderer ihre Energiereserven wieder auff\u00fcllen konnten, bevor sie sich auf die l\u00e4ngste Etappe der Tour begaben.<\/p>\n<h4>Durch Bergwiesen zur Schutzh\u00fctte \u201eDrei Kastanien\u201c<\/h4>\n<p>Der Weg f\u00fchrte um das Fluggel\u00e4nde herum, durch malerische Bergwiesen, die herrliche Ausblicke auf die sanfte H\u00fcgellandschaft boten. Schlie\u00dflich erreichten sie die Schutzh\u00fctte \u201eDrei Kastanien\u201c und waren dankbar f\u00fcr den Schatten, den der Wald bei sommerlichen 26 Grad und strahlendem Sonnenschein bot.<\/p>\n<h4>Kletterer und beeindruckende Aussichten<\/h4>\n<p>Ein weiteres Highlight waren die Ithklippen, die nicht nur Wanderer, sondern auch Kletterer anziehen. An einem Kletterfelsen nahe Holzen konnten mutige Sportler bei ihrem Aufstieg beobachtet werden. Am Waldrand von Holzen, in der N\u00e4he des Kriegerdenkmals, genossen wir eine beeindruckende Aussicht auf Holzen und die umliegende Landschaft.<\/p>\n<h4>Geselliger Abschluss im historischen Backhaus<\/h4>\n<p>Der letzte Abschnitt der Wanderung f\u00fchrte \u00fcber Feldwege und durch den Ort Holzen, bis die Wanderer schlie\u00dflich das nachgebaute historische Backhaus erreichten. Hier fand ein geselliger Abschluss statt: Ehrenamtliche Helfer des Heimatvereins Holzen versorgten die Teilnehmer mit frisch gebackenem, warmem Zuckerkuchen aus dem historischen Backofen sowie duftendem Kaffee.
